"Then, i suppose you won't eat." Edward said with a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. "We aren't just letting you off to kill innocent people!" His eyes turned hard now and he glared at it. Bella stepped in front of Edward and pulled him into a hug. "Don't worry. Everyything will be fine." She said and kissed him, moving down his throat. Edward was almost distracted from teh original topic. Almost.

"Fine, then. Be that way. I might as well get out of this place anyway. You vampires give me the creeps." Hellmasker said, then slank back into the forest, not glancing back at the coven of vampires and partial pack of wolves.

Esme stood rooted to the same spot.
"Is it really gone now?" She asked shakily, still staring at where the Hellmasker dispeared into the trees.
"I hope so." Carlisle answered, also staring at where the Hellmasker left. If that thing comes back, it'll be sorry. He thought, pulling Esme into his arms, and trying not to worry about where the creature had gone, and if it wold come back.

"Are we just going to let that THING leave?!" Edward hissed.

"Yes. It shouldn't come back. If anything else happens..." Carlisle trailed off mid-sentence, not wanting to worry anybody, "Well, we'll figure something out." He finished, stiffening at the thought of the Hellmasker coming back.

"And just let him kill innocent human beings?!" Edward protested. Emmett cut in. "They might not be quite so inncoent, brotha!" He said with an amused smirk

"Well, they are innocent....But, maybe it'll just leave things alone? If not, we'll figure it out." Carlisle said, "I just don't thik it deserves to die." He finished. Even though it really does...But I shouldn't think like that. It's not right. He thought, pushing the errant thought away.

"Funny, you tell me one thing, and think a completely other, when you are talking to me...?" Edward says raising an eyebrow. He smiled and put his arm on the small of Bella's back.

"Sorry..." Carlisle apologized, "It's just a little confusing....you know, mixed emotions." He said, smiling weakly.
"Don't let it bother you, that thing is gone now." Esme whispered, looking up at Carlisle.

Karri listened to the trees. Soon she came upon a Russian camp. "No." She whispered hearing how many there were. She quickly skied back to came. "A whole regiment sir." She said to General Poski.

"It's still loose." Edward mumbled quietly. Bella leaned her head against his shoulder.

Esme head Edward's comment, but she decided not to say anything. It's pointless to continue talking about it further...It won't go anywhere. She thought, resting her head on Carlisle's chest.

General Poski put her on the demo team. She ran and soon was getting lines of demo along the border.

"You don't know that." Edward said fiercely, yet so quietly it was nearly inaudible, through clenched teeth. "We are supposed to let it just hurt others?! Esme, you are nearly indestructible, and look what it did to you?! What about fragile humans!" Edwardstiffened in tension

Karri jumped back as a cannon ball came hurtling towards her. She grabbed a stick of dynomite, lit it, and hurled it at the Russians. They fired another cannon ball right at the center of the camp. "No." She whispered. She lit the other ones and started throwing them. Soon the Russians retreated. She walked back to the came. She heard no one. She started running north. When she reached a place that had been spared from war she climbed a tree and sat there in a stony silence.

"I know, Edward. But, what are we supposed to do about it?" Esme asked, pulling away from Carlisle for a moment, "For all we know, this thing could be half-way across the country by now." She finished, not meeting Edward's intense gaze.

Hellmasker had been running for what felt like days, although it had only been a few hours. He was lucky that those vampires didn't come after him.
"Although, they probably will sooner or later. I didn't like the way Edward and Carlisle were staring at me..." He said to himself, reaching a small lake that he would probably have to swim through.

"Esme! How can you let him just go like that!?" Edward hissed. He sighed in frustration.
"I could always go get him!" Emmett said with a smile. "No problem." He jumped over to where Carlisle stood, with Rosalie in his arms.

Esme blinked slowly.
"Because, if he comes back...All of that could happen again. And I don't want any of you getting hurt...Or worse." She said quietly.

(crap, I gotta go for a few minutes, I'll finish this later... )

Taylor sat there. She took a small dagger from her boot and flung it at a tree. It went all the way through. She jumped down and picked it up and stuck it back in her boot.

"She has a point, Edward," Carlisle interceded, "And, Emmett, we're not going to go after the Hellmasker. It won't do us any good." He finished, glancing at both Edward and Emmett.

Taylor sat in a birch tree her sightless eyes staring straight ahead. The wind whipped her hair around wildly. It was in her face but she didn't care.

Vladimir and Stefan wandered through the trees at a slow jog..
"Stefan where do you think Carlisle will be?"
"Dunno, You?" Stefan said in boredom
"Wherever Esme is I guess.That Carlisle realy loves her you know" Vladimir said

Hellmasker had swam the small lake, and on the other side, he kept running. I have to get out of here, to some place where neither those vampires or those wolves will find me. He thought, while blowing past town after town of humans. He came to a stop outside a schoolyard.
" I may as well hunt. It's been a while...and this place is perfect." He growled, prowling along the outside fence. None of the little humans seemed to notice him, so Hellmasker scaled the fence and attacked the nearest kid.
"Ah, much better." Hellmasker said with satisfaction, after his excellent 'hunting trip'. Now to find somplace to hide.

Carlisle stood staring blankly at the forest. Nobody had answered to his comment, so he decided to take a break from the 'discussion'. Then he heard two faint voices from the west. Vladimir and Stefan, it sounded like. What would they be doing here? He thought, turning slightly, to hear the voices better.

Taylor got up and started walking around. She almost wanted to kill herself but she knew that would be very, very hard. She walked toward the camp. There was no one left alive. "I will kill those Russians." She vowed to herself.

Vladimir and Stefan caried on jogging. "Vladimir" Stefan said Vladimir didnt hear him though he was busy in his thoughts, trieing to remmber what it was like to have a heart beat. "Vladimir" stefan said again
"What..What is it?" Vladimir asked still in a daise
'we're here" Stefan exclamed
