Esme sighed.
"Sorry, that was a stupid thing to say." she muttered. If it were possible, she would've blushed.

"Yes, Esme, it wasn't one of your brightest plans." Edward said. He sighed. "Shall you come to see?"

"I suppose." Esme said, and looked up from the grass. She'd be sure not to say anything stupid this time...

(Crap, I've gotta go. See ya later!!)

Edward led Esme to the fight, leavng the Romanians behind, dumbstruck and curious

Taylor scowled in the direction she heard Edward. She fought the urge to growl at him. Thanks for picking my thought to listen to. she thought narrowing her eyes. well sorry for fighting in a war so I wouldn't die. Fighting in a war kind of makes you more observant then normal. she added disgust for Edward listening to her thoughts in her head.

(Lol, it was getting really late. ut I'm back now, for a few minutes, at least.)

Esme followed Edward reluctantly. She didn't like the idea of being in the middle of the 'fight', it probably wouldn't help much. But she followed anyway.

Edward stopped at the treaty line, where Bella was still hissing, growling, and screaming at Jacob.

Taylor narrowed her eyes and took out her knife looking at the itracate carvings on the handle.

(Oh, jesus christ... (sorry for anybody religious, that was NOT meant in a mean way).. i honestly hate my life right now.. i have SO much stress in school and my boyfriend is pissed at me for whatever reason and...

Jacob had been quietly listening to the exchange of the two vampires. He didn't want to interrupt, searching for what Bella was really thinking.
"Stop for yapping for 2 minutes and listen two me. First of all, you are the one in MY smelling range, since you are on OUR land. Now, with that said. Saying that a child's name is cute, doesn't mean Kiely and me are really going to have kids. Speaking of names, EVERYBODY calls her Nessie. Even your lovely Edward." Jacob grimaced as he spat the name of his Ex-Rival. "Now, I'm not choosing Kiely over Nessie, because as Carlisle said, nobody can defy the whole imprinting-thing. And, as I said a million times before, I'm not even ALLOWED to think about Nessie that way! When are you gonna understand that?"
Jacob took a big breath, waiting for Bella to explode yet again, and question everything he had just explained.

Esme reached the treaty line with Edward. Bella was croched down, hissing and growling at Jacob. Oh, jeez, this is worse than I thought. I hope it doesn't end badly. She thought, her gaze flashing between Bella, Jacob, and Carlisle.

Carlisle listened quietly to Jacob's 'speech'. He had a very valid point, but it was obvious that Bella would deny it. Then he noticed Esme following Edward into the clearing. What the...? Edward, why did you bring her here?! He thought to Edward, looking away from Jacob and Bella for a moment.

Bella took a deep breath in. "Jacob, you really don't want to push me." She said with her eyes closed. She fought to control the anger boiling in her veins. "I never said anything was wrong with the nickname 'Nessie'". Bella said. "I've gotten used to it by now..." She said, narrowing her eyes. "And Renesmee Cullen-" She emphasized the name very carefully. "- is my daughter. And, yeah, you aren't allowed to think like that because she's a little girl!" Bella protested. "And why can't you wait for her? Edward waited several decades to find me. And you can't wait a couple *months*, for Renesmee?" Bella said, finally opening her eyes. "And how are you not choosing Kiely over Renesmee?" Bella asked. Her voice was nearly even now, except a small break in the word over. "When you are willing to fight against her family. The only family she has!" Bella asked, keeping the questions flowing. "And when you are willing to walk off with Kiely, not even leaving Nessie an explanation. And yet, you have the nerve to tell me you aren't picking Kiely over Renesmee? You have the nerve to stand there and hold that girl's hand?" Her voice rose an octave. "Or would you prefer paw?" Bella said, anger creeping up her spine again.

Edward turned to Carlisle. "She has a right to know what is going on." Edward told Carlisle quietly.

"I think he would at least give Renesmee an explanation, Bella." Esme whispered. She didn't want to intefere in this... But she doubted that Jacob would just walk away without even telling Nessie what was going on.

Carlisle's jaw tightened. I suppose you have a point. He thought.

"Really? What is he doing now, Esme?" Bella asked, and sighed in exasperation.

"Well, it... It's not like he's.... Just... Running off without telling her..." Esme stammered. She couldn't think of the right to say, and everything just came out wrong. "I don't know, Bella. I... I just don't. I'm sorry." She said, shaking her head slightly.

"It's fine. I'm just frustrated. Jacob, was my best friend." Bella said, wincing at the past tense. "Or I thought he was. But, apparentally not. It's just a lot to take in." Bella said.

(dang it! aye aye aye i'm in too many RPGs! I ment to say felt.)

"Bella, he still can be. You two just need to... Work this out." Esme said, half-smiling.

"Esme... he can't. We can't live in the same world." Bella told Esme

Why is she being so pessimistic about it? They can live in the same world... Esme thought. She didn't have anything to add, whatever she said probably wouldn't convince Bella, anyways.

Edward sighed. He agreed with Esme, but Bella wouldn't leave it be.

"I'm sure it'll work out somehow, Bella." Carlisle interceded quietly. He didn't like seeing everybody so sad and stressed, it wasn't right. This had to work out. And he was make sure that it did.

"Carlisle..." Edward warned gently.

"What?" Carlisle asked, turning his eyes to Edward. I just don't like seeing everybody so stressed. I'm sure you can understand that. He thought.

"Don't interfere." Edward said.
